ALLEN COUNTY MUSEUM & Historical Society

Thank You! Your rating has been saved.

Since 1908, the success of the Allen County Historical Society and Museum has been made possible through the involvement of many dedicated people. Our founders' commitment to making history accessible to the community, and their generosity of time and resources, set the stage for more than a century of participation.

A large portion of our annual revenue is provided by past and present donations and memberships. Donors and members continue to provide the necessary financial support to grow our collections and programs, all of which are free to the public.

Be a part of history and donate today.

Whether you're an avid museum visitor, a serious historical researcher, or just looking for an enjoyable time out, the Allen County Museum has something for everyone. Our campus includes the main Museum (including the Children's Discovery Center), the 1893 Victorian MacDonell House, log house, John H. Keller Railroad Archives, and the Elizabeth M. MacDonell Memorial Library. We invite you to come and explore the past. Group tours and school field trips are welcome - call us to book your tour.
