The 1939 - 1969 was an Age of American Optimism. World War II had ended, new technologies promised unsurpassed comforts and Americans were reaching beyond the bounds of Earthly gravity to explore the heavens above. Televisions, radios and cars all had designs that rocketed into the future. It was the time of science fiction, UFOs, flying cars, computers the sizes of houses and furniture for the home that projected the owners' optimistic outlook about a futuristic time, just around the corner...with !Robots!

This new display showcases several historic and modern Robots along with displays on Natural & Artificial Intelligence.
