Balboa Park
Balboa Park is located just minutes from downtown San Diego. Admittance is free to the Park grounds, Botanical Building, outdoor gardens, and some attractions. Admission charges vary at the other cultural attractions; view prices by visiting the individual websites for the attractions of choice.
The Passport to Balboa Park offers visitors the chance to experience 14 museums with the convenience of a one-time purchase. Choose the seven-day Passport or the Zoo/Passport Combo to embark on your Balboa Park adventure!

Balboa Park Central
The nonprofit Balboa Park Central operates the Visitors Center. In addition to the Visitors Center, this nonprofit promotes Balboa Park through its parkwide programs: Balboa Park Marketing, Passport to Balboa Park and the web site, BalboaPark.org. Balboa Park Central is also responsible for the National Historic Landmark House of Hospitality building that houses the Balboa Park Visitors Center, a police storefront, offices of cultural and educational organizations, and The Prado Restaurant at Balboa Park.
