Ballet Folklorico de Riverside

Ballet Folklorico de Riverside celebrates over 34 years of existence. The organization has over 75 members and continues to grow. The four Maestas (teachers) work together each year to create a colorful display of dances from various regions of Mexico.
Ballet Folklorico performs at all kinds of events, private and public. They take pride in bringing culture and tradition to the Riverside communities and surrounding areas. The four major events are Calabaceado Festival at Bryant Park in September, Dia de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) in Downtown Riverside on November 2, Cinco de Mayo Fiesta at Bryant Park in May, and the Annual Showcase in July at UCR Theater.
