Welcome to the Bluefield Dance Theatre webpage. We are located at 1801 Jefferson Street. We offer all types of dance both recreational as well as the competitive. "The Award Winning School."

BDT teaches children of all ages, offering cultural opportunities to the youth of the two Virginias.

Bluefield Dance Theatre has three teams for the competition dancer. Our MINI competition team is for the younger dancers at Bluefield Dance Theatre. Our middle school girls are known as the JUNIOR team and the SENIOR team is for the more advanced dancers. Teams compete at two regional and one National competition each year.

The BDT Competition Teams learn life skills from master teaching as well as performing, attending unique workshops and, especially working with other dancers as a team. Performances include charity benefits, community events, as well as competitions and BDT functions. Teams benefit from outstanding directors and faculty as well as guest choreographers and master teachers from all over the US.
