Boulder College of Massage Therapy
Our Mission:
To develop the most proficient, successful massage therapists while cultivating excellence in the massage therapy profession.
One Story
Honora Wolfe, David Chernikoff and Christina Hammond established the Boulder School of Massage Therapy in 1975, and we became the Boulder College of Massage Therapy in 1997. Our philosophy places students and their success at the center of our focus. We strive to provide students with an exceptional educational experience and instill in them a commitment to lifelong learning. We are accredited by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges (ACCSC), and are one of the only stand-alone, non-profit massage therapy schools in the country. Our first priority is to provide a quality and diverse hands-on experience massage therapists need to develop successful careers.

- One Step Beyond
Our goal is to motivate and inspire students - to touch humanity in a meaningful way through massage therapy. Massage therapy changes one's perspective through touch. This ability to look at things differently enables us to be more present and more effective in the world. Regardless of the goal, we all want to make educated decisions. Deciding to continue your education is one of the most important choices you will make in your life. It is about finding a place where you feel like you belong and can thrive. So as you explore your educational options we encourage you to look beyond the norm. The Boulder College of Massage Therapy has small class sizes to promote better learning; flexible schedules to help you achieve your goals; and hands-on training that will allow you to prepare for the real world. Here are a few of the things that we feel make the Boulder College of Massage Therapy so unique:

Additional campus spaces include a computer lab, reference library, wellness bookstore, and a student lounge and patio. Our community clinic is well established in Boulder. Our students get the hands-on experience they need by providing massages and bodywork sessions to community members in our massage clinic. Our highly professional clinic has 12 massage clinic rooms that are equipped with full-spectrum lighting, music and a "private practice type" environment. Students are instructed on how to work effectively in a professional atmosphere and develop skills in charting, assessment, massage treatment planning, and administrative functions of running a massage practice.
