Our Philosophy
We are a recreational dance school dedicated to providing age-appropriate, positive instruction in a clean, creative and fun environment! While every student learns fundamental dance skills, we believe it's much more than that. It's about teaching children to find their voice and to be heard. Showing them how to face challenges with courage and grace. Finding the unique gifts and talents within each child and allowing them to shine! Developing self-esteem, confidence and poise. Making friends and developing a lifelong appreciation for the performing arts. And most importantly, FUN!
Our Classes
We have the MOST creative class curriculum around with classes for kids of all ages. All of our childrens' dance classes incorporate singing, dancing, drama, arts-crafts, props, costumes, storybooks, games and other surprises to keep them interested and engaged all season long. For older students with the drive, talent and discipline, Broadway Arts Center proudly offers three levels of Company Classes that provide more intense training and additional performance opportunities. Whether you are looking for a recreational class or something more serious we have got you covered!
Our Dance Instructors
Our teachers LOVE what they do and it shows!! Our professional teachers not only have extensive backgrounds in Dance/Theater but they have or are pursuing degrees in education allowing them to develop fun, creative AGE-APPROPRIATE classes that meet the developmental needs of each age level. We always teach with encouragement, praise and positive guidance. Our teachers believe that creating strong character is as important as creating strong dancers. At Broadway Arts Center parents never have to worry about provocative music, moves or costumes choices.
Our Simple Payment Plans
Our simple payment plan includes all recital expenses along with tuition. Most studios charge up to 10 monthly fees a year PLUS costume fees, performance fees, recital tights, tickets, etc. Our plan INCLUDES: Recital costumes, 4 FREE tickets, 1 FREE Rehearsal Pass and a FREE pair of recital tights! We offer 2 simple payment plans, our popular Discount Plan and our Monthly Plan, allowing you to pick a plan that fits your budget. We also offer very generous discounts for siblings as well as students taking multiple classes. NO COSTUME FEES!!
Our PERFORMANCES!!
Broadway Arts Center is very proud of its unique approach to children's theater! No long, boring recitals here!! While most studios put on a showcase style end of the year show, we present an original Mini-Musical! For approximately and hour, our story-based show will engage and delight students and audience alike! When the curtains go up and the spotlights go on, you will be treated to a semi-professional show with acting, singing and dancing allowing every child to shine! Each family receives 4 FREE tickets to the performance. Additional tickets are available for purchase.
Our Studio
Broadway Arts Center is located in downtown Jefferson. Our recently expanded facility offers 2 large dance studios each with its own clean, comfortable lobby with FREE Wi-Fi and ample parking. Parents are always welcome to observe their child's class thru our large viewing window in studio A or the TV monitor with closed circuit camera in studio B. You'll also find a state-of-the-art Marley dance floor which offers a superior surface for safety and comfort. Broadway Arts Center is a very organized, nurturing, and positive place for your child to grow!
