Cache Valley Center for the Arts
The Cache Valley Center for the Arts is a community based art center in downtown Logan, Utah. This facility, often referred to as "the Center," currently consists of three facilities: The Bullen Center, Ellen Eccles Theatre, and Thatcher-Young Mansion.
ELLEN ECCLES THEATRE
The Ellen Eccles Theatre seats 1,100, provides a rehearsal space for performing resident organizations.
Our organization complements existing programs in the Valley by providing additional outreach opportunities to adults, students and families, present quality nationally touring productions and providing a glimpse into communities, performers and cultures that may not be readily accessible in Cache Valley. Touring productions help nurture audiences for the future by building upon the established community events, exhibiting a national perspective and providing an expanded opportunity for experiencing the arts.
THE BULLEN CENTER
The Bullen Center is a multi-tenant facility housing, hosting and partnering with 4 local, state and regional not-for-profit arts and higher organizations. These organizations rent permanently affordable space from the Center for the Arts. CVCA provides dedicated space for the Alliance for the Varied Arts (AVA) to utilize including a children's theatre, ceramic studio, dance room, and the entire Thatcher-Young Mansion. On the main floor of the Bullen Center, CVCA partnered with Utah Public Radio to provide a downtown studio space.
In addition to the dedicated art space & radio station, The Bullen Center has classroom, conference room, ticket office, and administrative space.
The mission of the Cache Valley Center for the Arts is to bring cultural enrichment to the people of the extended Cache Valley community by presenting, exhibiting, teaching and fostering quality fine arts experiences and facilitating other appropriate uses of the Ellen Eccles Theatre, Thatcher-Young Mansion and Bullen Center that will encourage widespread community access, tourism and economic development.
