The Carlsbad Public Library has been serving Carlsbad and the surrounding communities for over 100 years, meeting the educational, informational and recreational needs of our citizens.

OUR MISSION

The mission of the Carlsbad Public Library is to meet the evolving educational, cultural and recreational needs of the public by providing modern library resources and services. The library strives to offer free programs and services to people of all ages, backgrounds, interests, abilities and levels of education.

Have you seen the incredible new teen space the TAG group (teen advisory group) designed for the library? It's got books, magazines, graphic novels, study space and relaxing areas to sit and read. If you have not yet had a chance to see it, be sure to stop by and take a look. The best thing? It's for TEENS ONLY!

JUST FOR KIDS

Toddler Time (ages newborn-3 years old)
Monday mornings at 11:30 a.m.
Summer Reading Program (4 and up)
Tuesday & Thursday at 10:00 a.m OR 2:00 p.m.
Wednesday 10:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m.
Teen Art (6th-12th grade)
3:30-5:30 p.m.
