Welcome to Cedarhurst Center for the Arts. As a premier regional arts institution, Cedarhurst presents visual and performing arts programs for the public year-round on a 90-acre estate nestled in southern Illinois. The museum's Permanent Collection contains over 400 art works and decorative objects including paintings by Samuel Bellows, Mary Cassatt, Thomas Eakins, William Glackens, George Luks and Maurice Prendergast. Cedarhurst offers exhibitions in three galleries, large-scale sculpture in Cedarhurst Sculpture Park, chamber music, the annual Cedarhurst Craft Fair and numerous educational programs.

Nestled on a 90-acre site in southern Illinois, Cedarhurst celebrates the arts year-round with exciting visual and performing arts programs for the public. Explore rolling meadows and woods, home to Cedarhurst Sculpture Park, the museum's outdoor gallery with over 60 large-scale sculptures. Visit the Mitchell Museum with contemporary art exhibitions in two galleries, including the Children's Gallery. Enjoy works by Mary Cassatt, Maurice Prendergast, Childe Hassam and more, part of the museum's American painting collection acquired by founders John R. and Eleanor R. Mitchell.
