Classical Training, Traditional Values

General Information

We offer classes in creative movement, ballet, and musical theater for students ages 2 though adult. Check our website for our current schedule and tuition rates.

In addition to regular classes, bi-monthly "Parents Night Out" events will be offered. Dancers will learn about different classical ballets and participate in activities around themes such as "Cinderella" or "Swan Lake".

Mick Gunter - Owner/President of Centralia Ballet Academy, Inc.

Mick Gunter's introduction to the world of ballet began in 1998, when he was involved with Ballet Northwest's production of The Nutcracker. Over the last 11 years, he has had the honor of performing with Ballet Northwest in several other productions including Cinderella, Copellia, Graduation Ball and The Sleeping Beauty. In 2009, he had the opportunity to design, create, and perform as The Ogre, which was done in a 7 foot tall puppet costume, in The Sleeping Beauty. He was also a board member of Ballet Northwest for several years where he created educational outreach programs and spearheaded several fundraisers.

Mick also holds a black belt in Tae Kwon Do, and currently works as an Information Tech Specialist for the State of Washington. He has also performed voice over work, including instructional videos and as the narrator for Action Dance's production of "Peter and the Wolf".
