Children’s Activity Museum
The Children's Activity Museum is a non-profit organization that gives kids and parents a safe place to interact, learn, and play. The building is comprised of several themed areas that rotate and change occasionally to offer new learning and play experiences.
The Children's Activity Museum (CAM) was founded in 1991 and has been Ellensburg's center for developing children's imaginations ever since.
EXHIBITS
The Children's Activity Museum has a number of themed hands-on exhibits encouraging children to use their imaginations while learning about our world. Changed several times each year to keep the areas fresh, children are invited to play, interact, imagine, and learn. The Museum is a unique place of discovery providing a full, rich and memorable play experience for children and their parents.
MISSION
The "hands-on" exhibits and activities at the Children's Activity Museum are designed to increase children's awareness of the visual and performing arts, science, technology, cultures, history and disabilities. The Museum's environment stimulates curiosity, creativity and develops critical thinking skills.
The museum is intended for all children as well as their families. We believe the museum reflects Kittitas County's commitment to children, families and improving the quality of life in our community.
