Chisholm Trail Heritage Center

Thank You! Your rating has been saved.

The Chisholm Trail Heritage Center, located in Duncan, OK is a multi sensory submersion into not only the fascinating historic Chisholm Trail, but also settlement of the southern Great Plains of the United States. Not your typical "stop and stare," our exhibits encourage you to explore, push buttons, pick up a lasso, or put on a cowboy hat. Animatronic Jesse Chisholm and his friend, Tex tell the story of the trail in our campfire theater. The earth literally shakes to the real life rumble of a stampede in our experience theater. The Garis Gallery of the American West houses many of the highest quality western artists such as Remington, Russell, and Jaxon.

Chisholm Trail Heritage Center Association is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit public organization. It depends on members, donations, and private foundations to maintain our mission: "To celebrate and perpetuate the history, art and culture of the Chisholm Trail, the American Cowboy and the American West."

Your gift will also help the Chisholm Trail Heritage Center carry out vision: "becoming a world-renowned destination that brings alive the heritage of the American West inspiring present and future generations."
