The Cleveland Bradley County Library provides informational resources, programs, and services for the personal enrichment, education, and enjoyment of all citizens and for the betterment of the community.
Introduction
The Cleveland Public Library's purpose is to welcome and serve all individuals and groups who wish to use appropriately its materials and facilities.
Children Services
Our Professional staff provides patrons reference and reader's advisory assistance in locating books, audiovisual, information and other materials. The Collection includes: over 20,000 items in the Easy, Juvenile and Young Adult sections of the Children's Room; a reference collection is provided for in-house use; videos and books on tape; and children's magazines.
A large number of titles included in the Accelerated Readers Test Program are maintained by the Library.
Programs for Children include: Preschool storytimes twice a week; Summer Reading Program in June and July; and Storytelling Contest in November. Tours or orientations for groups and classes can be made by appointment. Computers are available for children's use as well as an online-catalog.
Computer Literacy
The public library has a Computer Center with over 30 computers. All computers are Internet accessible and have the full Microsoft Office Suite. The library also offers computer training for the public. Computer classes available include:
