Collins Center for the Arts

Located on the University of Maine campus, the Richard R. and Anne A. Collins Center for the Arts is the cultural centerpiece of eastern and northern Maine, providing a flagship venue for performing arts.

Hutchins Concert Hall ,Collins Center for the Arts (Formerly Maine Center for the Arts) is a multi-use space that seats 1,435 people. It has been open since September 1986 with a major front of house renovation in 2007-2008. As a part of the University of Maine campus in Orono, Hutchins hosts a wide variety of events,

presenting classical and contemporary music, dance, theater, comedy, ceremonies, and lectures. The Hutchins Concert Hall has two basic configurations to accommodate the variety of events presented: The theater/dance mode and the orchestral configuration.

Flex Pass

The Flex Pass is intended to give our patrons the flexibility to make last minute decisions to attend performances (even when sold out) and be guaranteed an excellent seat as needed. All that the Box Office requires is that you reserve 48hrs in advance of the event. In an effort to make this available to as many patrons as possible, different pass levels have been created.
