Community Center and Water Park

Over the past several years Paragould, AR has gained a lot of attention for their Water park. The Paragould Water park is located on the edge of Greene County, connecting to Craighead County, at the Paragould Community Center. The Paragould Water park is set up to accommodate all ages with different size swimming pools and age appropriate equipment.

Unlike larger water parks that are mostly set up to attract teenagers and young adults, the Paragould water park appears to be more of an attraction for smaller children. The largest part of the park is a large waiting pull with playground equipment in the very center. No one over four feet tall is aloud on the playground, this allows for small children to be able to play without interference from larger children who are ideally too big for the equipment. The playground includes two smaller slides and one larger slide. Stairs allow easy access for smaller children and a rope bridge is attached for those children that enjoy a challenge. The equipment has several small water toys attached to it and buckets that poor water. The water surrounding the equipment is 1-1.5 ft deep and gets a little deeper as you move further across the pool.

Located on the back side of the facility is a full size swimming pool with a diving board on one end and two large recreational slides on the other. At any given time you will find people over 4ft tall lined up to enjoy the diving board and slide.
