Dance With Me… Dance Studio
Dance With Me... Dance Studio was created in 2008 by Jeane Koenen and Jackie Weatherford and is located in Atchison, Kansas. The studio started it's first classes in June 2008 and has been in the process of working it's way up since! We offer a wide variety of classes including:
- Ballet
- Jazz
- Tap
- Hip Hop
- Poms
- Tumbling
- Adult Jazz/Tap
- Zumba
We are a studio that prides itself in reaching out to each individual student. Our motto is that the studio is "where the star's hang out" and it is just that! Every dancer is a star and no one will be left in the back or go unnoticed. Our Instructor and assistants don't just stand off to the side and tell the dancers what they need to do or are doing wrong. They get right in the middleof the classes and are very involved with each student. They are there to help the students improve not only their dancing skills/technique but also their spirit as well. They want to make sure that students are learning while having an enjoyable and positive experience.
Dance with Me... Dance Studio is also community oriented. We will be performing and participating in many of Atchison's events such as the Amelia Earhart Festival, Octoberfest, Parades, and more. We will take any opportunity we can to get our dancers out to show everyone what they have been learning and also to get them comfortable being in front of a crowd. It also gives them something to look forward to and something for them to take pride in. So look for us in any of Atchison's events and I'm sure you will find us there!
We have much to come in the future for Dance With Me. We will be having a recital even in our first year of opening because the demand is so great already! The future years hold dance competitions, new classes, and eventually a second studio. So keep checking back for updates!
