Discovery Depot has been a part of the Galesburg community for the past 14 years. We strive to fulfill our mission of Inspiring Wonder and Excitement for Learning through our diverse programs, partnerships within the community and our exhibit offerings. We seek to promote literacy, science, mathematics, fine arts, and cultural education by engaging families through hands on learning.

Discovery Depot Thrives!

In 2012, over 21,000 visitors stepped through our doors, marking an increase that doubled our annual attendance within the last 4 years. Discovery Depot has become a top tourist destination in Knox County by drawing in 22% of our visitors from 50 miles away and greater. This not only benefits the museum but also our local economy.
