Downtown Providence

Thank You! Your rating has been saved.

The downtown district is an ideal place to live and work, thanks to the area's short commuting times, interesting architecture, and progressive climate.

Within the city of Providence, downtown is centrally located between the medical centers in the Jewelry District to the south, Federal Hill's "Little Italy" to the west, and College Hill to the east. Providence is also well-situated within New England at the intersection of Routes 95 and 195. The drive to Boston takes less than an hour, the trip to Cape Cod takes about an hour and a half, and New York is a short three and a half hour drive from here. Air travel is also convenient, with commuter rail service connecting downtown to Warwick's T.F. Green Airport. Boston's Logan International Airport is also easily accessible by bus or train
