Discover something new and unexpected in the heart of Rock Springs! A stroll through our historic downtown will reveal unique shops, tasty eateries and useful professional services...but please don't let the railroad tracks deter you from seeing both sides. There's plenty of parking on North Front Street and South Main Street and two walking underpasses for your convenience.

While you're out and about, don't forget to stop by the Rock Springs Historic Museum, originally built as the city hall in 1893, for more history and the self-guided walking tour booklet.

As an old coal mining town and Union Pacific Railroad stop, Rock Springs has developed a rich and diverse history that we feel is definitely worth sharing!

The City of Rock Springs in Wyoming is part of the National Trust for Historic Preservation's Main Street Program. Our mission is to revitalize and maintain the economic growth of downtown.
