Farmamerica Center
Come out and learn how farming has changed over the past 160 years. Experience first hand how the farmers of Minnesota survived in the 1800s, thrived in the 1900s and developed the modern farming techniques of today. We also look at new technologies and how agricultural will be changing in the future. Farmamerica is sure to have something for everyone.
If you have a group of 10 or more, give us a call (507) 835-2052 and we'll organize a trained Interpreter to accompany your group. It is a great outing for scouts or other student groups, group of friends of all ages, a fun activity for family reunions or a great corporate outing.
Facilities
Vistor Center
The Minnesota Agricultural Interpretive Center - Farmamerica sits on 120 acres in rural Waseca.
Visitors start their journey from the beautiful state-of-the-art Visitor Center, which can be accessed from the parking lot.
Parking
We have free on-site parking for up to 250 cars in the main parking lot and up to 1,000 cars in overflow parking.
Access
Our Visitor Center and the majority of our outbuildings are fully wheelchair accessible. The bathrooms in the Visitor Center also have baby-changing facilities. We have Wi-Fi available throughout the Visitor Center.
What to see
Visitors start their journey at the Visitor Center. From here, the mile-long Time Lane winds its way through the prairie restoration, the 1850's settlement and all of the sites, finally arriving at Agrihall, our antique tractor and farm equipment exhibit.
