Foothills Performing Arts Center

At the present time, Foothills Performing Arts Center is providing enormous stimulus to the region through the use of the Production Center and the Atrium, which was completed in 2009. An ambitious slate of events is scheduled for the 600+ seat theater and continued improvements to that space are contemplated, which will accommodate a wider variety of events, thus multiplying several-fold the industry and vitality originating at the center.

The tri-county region at the heart of the Foothills Performing Arts Center's focus is exceptionally rich in artistic and cultural activity. Foothills Performing Arts Center is emerging as a magnet for many artistic events through collaboration with booking agents, or produced by renting organizations (e.g. visiting chamber music groups, rock bands, etc.).

The mission of Foothills Performing Arts and Civic Center is to serve as an entertainment magnet and gathering place for a regional audience resulting in the continual development of the Oneonta community.

By offering a high-quality performing arts schedule and making FPAC a leading destination for event planning and business meetings, we integrate with the local community in many ways, bringing business and increased visibility to our area restaurants, hotels, and stores; and ensuring ongoing collaboration with arts groups, tourist attractions, other entertainment venues, and economic development agencies throughout the region.

We are committed to providing performing arts and educational programs that reflect our local community, with a focus on introducing theater, music, and other arts to young people across the area.
