Forest Hills Memorial Park was established in 1936 by Reading, Pennsylvania businessman Harry Boardman. Mr. Boardman's goal was to establish the most beautiful cemetery with a natural park-like setting in the country. He traveled throughout the United States, visiting dozens of cemeteries to get the ideas he used to achieve his goal.
