Golf Club of Bucyrus
WELCOME TO THE GOLF CLUB OF BUCYRUS
The Golf Club of Bucyrus, originally known as Bucyrus Country Club, was built as a nine hole course in 1925 by a group of local businessmen who often drove by the land and admired the "beautiful groves of trees and rolling landscape". It was once said of the land "God must be a Scotsman because the land is ideal for a golf course". It remained a private nine hole course until 1992 when a second nine was added by famed architect Barry Serrafin and was then converted to semi-public. The new holes were intertwined with the old holes to create a unique and challenging layout.
The Golf Club of Bucyrus, featuring tree lined fairways, rolling hills, ravines, lakes, creeks and a river, is fair to the average golfer yet can be quite a challenge to the low handicappers.
The 7800 sq ft Bogey Grill and Banquet Facility can accommodate up to 180 guests and is perfect for golf outings, weddings and parties.
