Hanging Rock Camp is a float trip outfitter for the scenic Illinois River. Float trips offered through this outfitter vary in length from six miles, which can be completed in a few hours, to overnight trips. Whether you take the ride in a canoe, which offers maneuverability or on a raft, which offers more stability and can accommodate more people, you'll have a blast.
Hanging Rock Camp offers campsites and lodging as well. The motel offers eight rooms, RV sites with electric hookups and primitive camping. Gather friends for a game of volleyball in the sand court, or stop in to Moe's restaurant to sample their barbecue. Hanging Rock Camp convenience store offers necessities you might need for your float trip or for your stay at the camp.

The Illinois River is a beautiful scenic river flowing near Tahlequah, Oklahoma. Floating is easy. We take you up River, provides your float equipment, and you float down to the beach just below our parking lot. We provide Float Trips from April through September, with prime season from Memorial Weekend through Labor Day Weekend. Reservations are recommended.
