Heartland of America Museum

Visitors can see, up close and personal, many artifacts from the late 1800's through the 1950's as they walk through the 32 major historical exhibits and over 38 aisle cabinet exhibits.

The Heartland of America Museum in Weatherford officially opened on June 12, 2007.

The 12,000 square foot building is located on the southeast edge of Weatherford, Oklahoma and readily visible between exits 82 and 84. Note large Interstate 40 sign(s) directing one to museum.

The Heartland of America Heritage Foundation 501 (c) (3) has been established to preserve historical artifacts and to provide authentic and educational displays of the various aspects of life in the Heartland of America.
