Heritage Square

Thank You! Your rating has been saved.

Heritage Square is by far an exceptionally original and notably historic part of Oxnard. The 15 beautifully restored structures on our site preserve some of the special history of Oxnard's early pioneer families. You would enjoy a morning or afternoon spent at Heritage Square, a major tourist attraction of which the community enjoys as an event and cultural center. The homes have been repurpased for business use, but you can still find a glimmer of what was, in historical Oxnard.

Docent guided tours are offered year-round, Saturdays 10-4pm and Sundays 1-4pm (weather permitting and closed some holidays). The tours are approximately 45 minutes long and start at the Heritage Square Visitor Center at 715 South A Street, accross from the water tower. Tours are $5 per person. Group tours may also be booked by appointment during the week. Call the Docent Coordinator at (805) 483-7960 ext 3.

Heritage Square's outdoor Main Plaza capture's the beauty of the Victorian mansions and surrounding gardens. This spacious, open-air plaza is an ideal setting for luncheons. Tour packages can include catered teas and box lunches before or after your scheduled tour.

What makes Heritage Square an ideal choice is our ability to customize our offerings. So whether your group is interested in architecture, the Victorian Era, or just an afternoon filled with local history, we will work with you to craft an unforgettable experience!
