With more than 80 miles of bike trails, the island of Hilton Head provides the ultimate biking experience. Hilton Head Outfitters, located inside Palmetto Dunes Oceanfront Resort on Hilton Head Island, SC, specializes in a variety of bike rentals and bicycling gear for your outdoor adventures. Outfitters rental selections include mountain bikes, beach cruisers, tandem bikes, kids bikes, and much more.
KAYAK & CANOE RENTALS
Hilton Head Outfitters provides kayak and canoe rentals so you can get up close and personal with nature on a scenic ride through an 11 mile inland lagoon system. The calm waters of the lagoon at Palmetto Dunes make the perfect setting for a beginner all the way to experts kayaking in Hilton Head. View an assortment of wildlife or try catching a variety of fish, such as a sea trout or black drum. Upon your departure from Outfitters, you will be fitted with the proper size life jacket and given a map of the lagoon system. There are several routes from which you can choose, depending on the desired length of your adventure.
Single and tandem kayaks, as well as canoe rentals for two and three people are available at Hilton Head Outfitters situated right on the lagoon shores.
FISHING CHARTERS
Hilton Head Outfitters offers a variety of exciting fishing charters inshore on our lagoon waterway and offshore out of Shelter Cove Marina. These fishing charters are fun for beginner fishermen up to amateur fishermen. The captains are knowledgeable and provide an entertaining and unforgettable journey. Hilton Head Outfitters has a full selection of fishing equipment for every type of fisherman. We carry fishing rods from G.Loomis, Shimano, Berkley, Daiwa and many more as well as rod and reel combos that are lined and ready to go. Along with hooks, weights, jig heads and leaders, we have a large selection of Berkley Gulp and other artificial baits. We can do special orders for a variety of fishing equipment if we do not have it in stock.
