Impulse Theater
Impulse Theater is Denver's premier improv theater troupe. Beginning in 1987 as Comedy Sportz, Impulse Theater currently performs shows every Thursday, Friday and Saturday at the Wynkoop Brewery in LoDo.
Impulse Theater is a wildly funny mix of comedy, theater and audience interaction. Each performance features a quick-witted cast that will keep you laughing from start to finish with fully improvised comedy, based all on your suggestions!
Located in Denver's famous Wynkoop Brewing Company, Impulse Theater has performed over 6,000 fully-improvised shows since 1987.
About Impulse Theater
Impulse Theater is Colorado's premier improvisational comedy theater. Each 90 minute performance consists of 10-12 short scenes, each with their own set of unique rules that the actors must follow. Audience suggestions form the basis for each unpredictable and hilarious scene. No two performances are alike.
Public Shows
Appropriate for all groups and ages, Impulse Theater performs Thursdays at 8:00 PM, and Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30 PM and 9:45 PM. Tickets are $18, and Group Discounts are available for groups of ten or more (except in December and early January).
The theater is non-smoking, there is a one drink minimum, under 21 must be accompanied by their parent(s) - unless it's one of our All Ages Nights - and reservations are recommended.
Impulse Theater is a great place for special group events. We love having Bachelor/Bachelorette parties, anniversaries, birthdays, company outings, etc. We even offer a discounted ticket rate for groups of ten or more !Be sure and let our house manager know of any special events, our cast has been known to put together a special treat!
