Independence Mall

Independence Mall is the only enclosed regional mall within a 60 mile radius located in the heart of Wilmington, North Carolina. Surrounded by miles of unspoiled beaches and a historic downtown area, Wilmington is the largest city in southeastern North Carolina and eighth largest in the state. Wilmington is home to The University of North Carolina Wilmington, the Battleship North Carolina and global corporations including GE, Corning, Verizon and PPD.

Independence Mall was originally built in 1979 and renovated in 2001. Independence Mall features over 1 million square feet of GLA anchored by Belk, Sears, JC Penney and Dillard's and over 100 Specialty Retail Shops.Wheelchairs and Strollers can be found in the Security Office off of Center Court across from Lee Nails or in the Dillard's Wing in between Aeropostale and Children's Place.
