JandJ Performing Arts offers Jazz, Ballet, Hip-Hop, and Modern/Contemporary Dance classes, as well as MOMMY AND ME and Adult Classes!
JandJ's Competitive Team Competes at up to three major competitions a year. We would like to give every student a chance to compete. It is a great experience for dancers and their parents to see what the competitive dance world is like.
CLASSES
Mommy and Me
This class is not just for Mommies any more. Be it Mom, Dad, Grandma or Grandpa, anyone with an active toddler are welcome to come enjoy this class.
Ballet
With roots in Italian, Russian and French culture and an American style, our Ballet Courses will challenge you, inspire you and embrace you.
Tumbling
Our new Tumbling Class will teach you all the basics tumbling skills, headstand, handstand, cartwheel, bridge, front & back walk overs, front& back handsprings, forward and backward rolls, aerial, and all that you can succeed. As you become more familiar with these techniques you can take it as far as you want!!!
Hip Hop
Try the dance that started a movement! Becoming a street culture dance in the 70's, taking the music and dance world by storm with the TV Show "Soul Train" and now it is alive and breaking out. Come be part of the movement!
Jazz
Come learn how to roll those shoulders, turn those knees, kick, leap and show us those Jazz Hands! This is definitely a high energy class that let's you get all that attitude out on the stage. You aren't just a dancer when you jazz; you are the physical embodiment of the music. It can be a breathtaking experience to let the music take control.

Modern
Why not try something new? What could be newer than Modern? This class pushes you to new limits as you learn to train your body in a whole new way. Modern dance has more emphasis on using your torso to create the motions and movements rather than traditional footwork. Edgy, Artsy, Evolving? It's all that and more. Come see for yourself.
