Jackson City Library
Purpose of the Library
It is the purpose of the Jackson City Library to provide library service to all the residents of the Jackson City School District. It is the intention of the Library Board of Trustees for this service to be as adequate as possible with the funds available. It is intended that the library will meet the needs of its users and will make materials available for information, for education, and for recreation. The library will provide with the following: 1. Main Library at 21 Broadway Street, Jackson, OH; 2. Outreach to nursing homes, the elderly, and the homebound.

- Free Internet and WiFi available.
- Internet printing
- Copier-both black & white and color

- Basic computer classes through Connect Ohio and Goodwill Industries
- Children's and YA programming
- Teen Advisory Board

- Research databases: Mango Languages, Ancestry.com, Learning Express Library, EBSCO
- Online testing for GED, ASVAB, ACT
- Book Club
- Voter registration/Absentee ballots
- Golden Buckeye card applications
