Knoxville Zoo

The mission of Knoxville Zoological Gardens is to celebrate the wonders of the natural world. Through education, conservation, exhibition, research and recreation, the zoo will tell the stories of the animals, the plants and the people who make up the communities of the earth. The zoo will develop positive attitudes and actions about nature and about conservation as a local and global issue.

There's so much to see, so much to ZOO! Knoxville Zoo offers great family fun for everyone. Experience wildlife up close as you come face to face with more than 800 of the Earth's most fascinating animals.

Zoo tickets and memberships are available at the entrance to the zoo.

For the safety of our animals, please leave your pets at home. Pets are not permitted in the zoo. Please do not leave your pets in your car, they will be more comfortable at home.
