Kosciusko County Historical Society
THE KOSCIUSKO COUNTY HISTORICAL SOCIETY is a non-profit corporation founded in 1966. Its offices, library and museum are located in the former Kosciusko County Jail. A highly respected genealogy section, along with an archeology section is also housed in this facility.
Discover the courage, struggles and triumphs of the persons who forged our county's heritage. Several programs are planned each year for your enjoyment and a quarterly publication, Thaddeus - named after Polish patriot Thaddeus Kosciusko, is free with your membership.
Our mission is to collect and preserve the materials of history, especially those for Kosciusko County. Further objectives are to initiate and encourage historical research and to participate in the cultural life of the community.
