Kress Cinema & Lounge

The Kress Cinema & Lounge is Greeley's first independent art film theater - combined with a full-service bar to provide both film viewers and bar patrons high-quality beverages, snacks and hors d'oeuvres. Located in downtown Greeley, in the historically renovated Kress Building, the theater takes advantage of the high, decorative plaster ceilings to create a large viewing space with historic ambiance.

The Kress Cinema & Lounge is a truly unique experience for every customer with our comfortable theater, full-service bar, and intimate seating area. Customers can order from a bar menu and dine while watching a movie. The theater programming is diverse - with foreign, classic, cult, and alternative content - complementing major holidays and local events. The full bar and restaurant serves the audience before and after shows and is open nightly to bar patrons, whether viewing the film or not.

The Kress Cinema is equipped with a digital projector, a 35mm projector, a certified surround-sound system and a screen approximately 20 feet wide. The digital projector, in addition to screening films, is available for local businesses for presentations or parties, and private rental groups can be served by the restaurant and bar. With high-quality digital projection, in combination with the traditional 35mm format, The Kress Cinema screens movies from classics to cult, and exhibiting the best in art, foreign and independent films.
