Lakeshore Golf
Lakeshore is a public 18 hole golf course that opened for business in 1962. Lakeshore is proud to say that it is still owned and operated by the same family that built it in the early 60's. The course is conveniently located in Durham, only minutes from the RDU airport and also very close to Research Triangle Park. The golf course winds it's way around a scenic 30 acre lake that also serves as the driving range for the course.
Hitting balls on the aqua range is a fun way to spend time with the family or a unique way to warm up before your round. Whether playing in a corporate golf league or playing with your weekend 4 some, we hope you enjoy your round of golf with us. We hope to see you at the shore soon!
Golf Instruction at Lakeshore is offered from our Head Golf Professional Chip Stallings. Chip has been the golf professional at Lakeshore since 1995. The lessons can be one on one or Chip can customize a package for multiple students. The lessons can include the use of V1 Digital Coaching Software. This is a golf specific video system that is very beneficial when used during golf lessons and it is included in the lesson rates. The golf lesson rates for one student are as follows:
- 1 hour lesson - $50
- 3 - 1 hour lessons - $135
- 5 - 1 hour lessons - $200
