Landrum’s Homestead & Village

Landrum's Homestead & Village is a re-creation of a late 1800's settlement reminiscent of southern days gone by. History comes to life with over 70 buildings and amazing displays nestled in a quiet beautifully landscaped setting of lush pecan trees, streams and southern foliage. Interesting, educational and fun for all ages, we invite you to step back in time and take a walking tour of the past.

We partnered with the USDA Forest Service and the Mississippi

Forestry Commission to create a display on the Civilian

Conservation Corps and the history of the reforestation of our forests in South Mississippi. The exhibit also covers fire towers,

artifacts, forest fires and shows the forest, as it is today and the

need for conservation and preservation.
