Larkin Arts

Larkin Arts has a dedicated Fine Arts Gallery. In turn, dedicated artists will be sought out for curated, juried and group exhibitions. We want to give locals another downtown feature to enjoy, and give visiting art lovers another reason to remember downtown Harrisonburg.

Larkin Arts is the only fine art supply store from Winchester to Staunton, providing fine arts supplies to Harrisonburg and the surrounding Shenandoah Valley. We feature a variety of high quality art supplies that customers can see, touch and test. Art supplies for drawing, painting, printmaking, ceramics, sculpture, art presentation and other media are available. We carry thousands of items, many are available in our store and others can be special ordered at a moment's notice*. Supplies are available for children and adults, students and teachers, beginners and professionals. Knowledgeable staff members are available at all times to answer questions about our products. We also provide materials for art classes at JMU, Blue Ridge Community College, Bridgewater and EMU.

SCHOOL

The art education program at Larkin Arts features three classrooms and offers art classes for a variety of students: school-aged children, adults, seniors, home-schooled children, toddlers, parents, Spanish speakers, etc.

STUDIO

The studios at Larkin Arts are a place to work, focus, spread out, and benefit from collective creativity in a space dedicated to art making. We are renting out 24-hour access studios for artists working in a variety of media.
