"The mission of Lied Discovery Children's Museum is to provide a vibrant and engaging experience, through exhibits and programs, where children from economically and culturally diverse backgrounds actively participate in playful learning experiences that ignite a love of lifelong learning."

VISION STATEMENT

Our vision is to bring Lied Discovery Children's Museum into the 21st century, by creating an extraordinary learning experience with new state of the art, hands-on exhibitions, enhanced school programs, public programs and extended programs, through repackaging and repositioning the museum from its current physicality to a more pedestrian friendly, family oriented, multi-experience energetic location that is conducive for families to come together with their children and inspire a sense of wonder and a love of lifelong learning.

In honor of the leaders of our community who decades ago worked tirelessly to establish this fine organization, our goal will be to elicit the support of the entire community to embrace our mission to assure we can serve the children of our ever changing and growing community.
