Lubbock Memorial Civic Center

Thank You! Your rating has been saved.

The Lubbock Memorial Civic Center stands as a monument to the perseverance and resilience of the people of West Texas. The Civic Center was dedicated in 1976 to the memory of those who lost their lives in the 1970 Lubbock Tornado. Built on the site of the tornado, this 300,000 square foot facility is flexible enough to accommodate large events or small specialized gatherings. The structural layout and architectural design of the facility combine beauty and versatility making it a convenient and impressive accommodation for any event, be it a meeting, trade show, concert or convention.

Located in downtown Lubbock, the facility has 1500 onsite free parking spaces. The central location of the Civic Center provides easy access to hotels, the Depot District, a variety of restaurants, shopping, Texas Tech University, and Preston Smith International Airport.

As a bonus, Select-a-Seat recently relocated their main office to the Civic Center. Now ticketing operations are available daily onsite for the convenience of our ticketed events. This is just one more way the Civic Center is committed to successful events.

The dedication of our staff is what makes our facility unique. Our friendly professionals specialize in event coordination, promotions, stage, security, ticketing, and food and beverage coordination. Each is committed to making your event a success.
