About Our Charity
Merlin's Magic Wand was formed in 2008 and is the charity of Merlin Entertainments Group, which supports the charity by providing free tickets and also the involvement of all its employees. All Merlin attractions around the world work hard on behalf the charity, supporting the trips these children make and raising funds to help the charity's work.
What We Do
Days Out
Many children, through illness, disability or difficult circumstances, are not able to experience things that other children take for granted. By providing tickets and financial support, Merlin's Magic Wand aims to ensure that these children can enjoy magical days out with their friends and family at Merlin Entertainment Group's attractions across the world.
Taking the Magic to the Children
Our outreach initiative focuses on bringing pieces of ‘Merlin Magic" to those children who are physically unable to visit the attractions. These will take the form of tailor-made installations at organizations, such as children's hospices, to create lasting benefits for the children and strong links to the community for each attraction. For example, one installation may be a Merlin-themed play area or a SEALIFE sensory room.
Our Attraction's Contributions
When visiting Madame Tussauds Las Vegas, you can make donations at our box office and in our retail store. Just look for the blue donation cups. All funds collected go directly to Merlin's Magic Wand.
