Madison Library District





The Madison Library District serves the City of Rexburg, Idaho, and the approximate geographic area of the Madison School District including BYU-Idaho students. In existance since 1920, the Library has grown to serve a population of over 33,000. During the 2011-2012 operating year, there were over 212,000 visits to the Library, with an average of 800 visits per day.
Mission Statement
The Madison Library District will:
Assemble, preserve, and make available materials, resources, and technology to the community in a variety of forms;
Support the ideals of intellectual freedom;
Provide a positive, friendly enviroment for the community to gather;
Serve as a center for lifelong learning and the enjoyment of reading.
