Magoffin Home State Historical Park
The Magoffin Home preserves and interprets the history, artifacts and heritage of a prominent El Paso family -- one whose diversity and influence inspires visitors to a deeper appreciation and understanding of Texas and the Southwest borderlands during the late 19th and early 20th centuries. This is accomplished by immersing visitors in an authentic historic environment, providing quality programs that educate, enlighten and entertain, and by supporting community efforts to preserve local history.
Magoffin Home State Historic Site is a Texas Historical Commission (THC) property. The THC's mission is to protect and preserve the state's historic and prehistoric resources for the use, enjoyment and economic benefit of present and future generations.
