Maier Museum of Art
Randolph College's nationally recognized Maier Museum of Art features works by outstanding American artists of the 19th and 20th centuries. The College has been collecting American art since 1920 and now holds a collection of several thousand paintings, prints, drawings, and photographs in the Maier's permanent collection. The Museum hosts an active schedule of special exhibitions and education programs throughout the year. Through its programs, internships, museum studies practicums, and class visits, the Maier Museum of Art provides valuable learning opportunities for Randolph students and the community at large.
The "101st Annual Exhibition of Contemporary Art: Bridges Not Walls" will be closing on Friday, December 7! Don't miss out on this amazing exhibition of works by artists from other countries who have made America their home. This exhibition features six artists including: Edgar Endress, Assaf Evron, Muriel Hasbun, Sook Jin Jo, Jiha Moon,etc.
Though we are still in the process of installing our spring exhibitions, Modern Movement: Arthur Bowen Davies Figurative Works on Paper from the Randolph College and Mac Cosgrove-Davies Collections and Arthur B. Davies Paintings from the Randolph College Collection, our other galleries, with selections from the Randolph College collection, are open for visitors.
