Main Street Landing Performing Arts Center
Melinda Moulton and Lisa Steele are Sustainable Redevelopers of the Main Street Landing property on the Burlington Waterfront in northern Vermont along the shores of Lake Champlain. We have been involved in environmental and socially conscious redevelopment since the early 1980s. Together we have created the innovative "team approach to design, development, permitting, and construction" philosophy, and produced, in concept, a 25-year incremental redevelopment project for the Burlington Waterfront.
Main Street Landing is predicated to creating beautiful buildings that are healthy, safe, and comfortable. Our projects include commercial, residential, and cultural uses in a humanly accommodating way. We have completed over 250,000 square feet of new and renovated space, which includes 102 Lake Street, Union Station, CornerStone Building, Wing Building, Lake & College Building, and the Train Station.
The Main Street Landing Company endeavors to support the visual and performing arts, to provide incubator space for local start-up businesses, to nurture social responsibility, and to make decisions based on ecological integrity, economic security, individual empowerment, and social well-being.
