To serve the musical, cultural and entertainment needs of Grant County and surrounding counties and to provide educational opportunities for audiences which foster a greater appreciation and understanding of music.
Company Overview
The MPO is a professional orchestra which presents four subscription concerts, a Fourth of July performance and a Swingin' on the Greens performance each year.
The Marion Philharmonic Orchestra announces the 24th Annual Concerto/Aria competition
to be held Saturday, November 17, 2012 in the Butz - Carruth Recital Hall on the campus of Taylor University.
Winners will be presented in both high school and collegiate divisions and will receive $250.00.
