Description
The Lani Kai is a snorkeling boat which takes customer to Molokini and Turtle Town or other beautiful snorkeling locations here on Maui Hawaii. Snuba is also available. The 59 passenger power catameran has a big shaded cabin, lots of seating outside, a water slide, showers and bathrooms. There are less people on the Lani Kai than on other snorkeling boats.
General Information
Whale Watching included during whale season from Dec. 15th to April 15th. The Lani Kai leaves early, because early in the morning the ocean is the calmest. Breakfast and Lunch are included in the morning and snorkeling gear is provided. Snuba and Wetsuits are extra.
The Morning Snorkeling Adventure
Molokini* & Turtle Town*
Once underway, you will be treated to a delicious continental breakfast. Upon arrival at the Molokini Marine Preserve the crew will pass out the complimentary snorkel gear and flotation devices as well as give a brief lesson/refresher course in snorkeling to anyone who requires it.
...then into the water! Enjoy Molokini's unparralleld water visibility of 100-150 feet.
After your Molokini snorkeling adventure, you are invited to relax as we take a swift cruise to Maui's now famous Turtle Town where green sea turtles, moray eels and other exotic marine life abound.
While at Turtle Town you'll enjoy a sumptuous deli-style lunch, ice cold beverages or a Maui Rum Mai Tai before returning to Ma'alaea Harbor.
This 5 hour Maui snorkeling trip treats you to some of the best snorkeling experiences Maui has to offer. Fun for all ages and skill levels!
Whale Watching on the Lani Kai
For whale watches we allow a maximum 45 passengers on our vessel certified for 59. There is lots of room to move about the boat and have a great view.

Captain Marc Minkler has over 25 years experience driving boats and following the movements and habits of Humpback Whales in Ma'alaea Bay. He knows where to find them, will tell you all about them and answer your questions. Captain Marc can even identify his favorite returning whales. He is the ultimate local guide when it comes to whales.
