Mead Public Library
Mead Public Library is more than books! We have many other services too!
We offer public computer use (including Internet) for adults, teens, and children, and wifi service throughout the building. New to computers? Mead Library offers opportunities for individual assistance for adults who are new to computers. If you'd like one-on-one help with mousing, word processing (MS Word or Open Office), e-mail, and basic Internet, call 459-3400, ext. 3422 for more information and an appointment for free personal computer instruction.
The Mission of Mead Public Library
The Mead Public Library provides collections and services designed to meet the educational and recreational needs of City of Sheboygan residents regardless of their age or formal schooling.
The Library is a community information and cultural center. It provides the means through which City of Sheboygan residents may have free access to the thinking on all sides of all ideas. It provides access in a range of formats to fine works of literature, other works in the arts and sciences, and works reflective of the popular culture.
Roles of Mead Public Library
The Board and staff of Mead Public Library have identified four main roles that the Library emphasizes in providing services to Sheboygan residents.
