Medbery Marketplace
Medbery Marketplace opened in 2010 in Historic Roscoe Village, a restored Ohio & Erie canal town that prospered in the late 19th century. Our four-story building was constructed in the 1850s by Arnold Medbery, a succesful local businessman. It was originally designed as a hotel with shops on the street level.
This building housed a popular hardware store for many years and has been home to an assortment of retail businesses for many decades. The building was purchased in 2010, by the McKenna family of nearby West Lafayette, creators of The Unusual Junction, one of Coshocton County's other famous attractions.
Today Medbery Marketplace is the premier shopping destination in Roscoe Village, hosting an array of antique and specialty shops on the second and third level, and a full-service deli and specialty grocery store on street level. The Medbery Marketplace building also features Captain Nye's Cafe, a great spot for lunch or an afternoon snack.
Recently added are the Suites at Medbery Marketplace offering overnight or extended stays in this historic building.
