Mesker Park Zoo & Botanic Garden's mission is to foster the preservation of the Earth's diverse species and living systems through an active role in education and conservation in our regional and professional community. From towering trees and exotic tropicals to delicate spring bulbs, our plant collection reflects the dazzling diversity found in the plant kingdom. Come see for yourself why we're called Mesker Park Zoo & Botanic Garden! Be sure to come to our annual Macy's Garden Festival, which is held the first full weekend in May. Here you'll learn more about gardening, listen to some folk music and have a chance to purchase some of our special plants.The members of the Association of Zoos and Aquariums (AZA) are a network of more than 6,000 committed zoo and aquarium professionals, organizations and suppliers world-wide. All share a commitment to wildlife conservation, education, science and animal care.

AZA also welcomes non-professional members who support the conservation work of zoos and aquariums.
